On the Apple Aluminium keyboard that comes with the MacPro, some of the keys are swapped around as compared to the more mundane PC keyboards.
I've created an xmodmap file that swaps the Cmd and Alt around on both sides of the spacebar. The right Alt is also mapped to Alt Gr. Furthermore, the key above Tab and left of 1 is mapped to ~ and the key left of Z is mapped to < (rather than the other way round, as is the default).
